该“守护系列”纪实观察类节目以长沙市人民检察院的检察官为人物核心，通过形形色色的案件展示检察官的日常工作。。七仙女（罗慧娟 饰）和义妹张巧嘴（周莉 饰）同为天庭的神仙，某日，两人下凡赏灯，偶遇了身世可怜的穷书生董勇（李志奇 饰）。董勇的善良和正直同时吸引了前仙女和张巧嘴，一番波折之后，董勇和七仙女结为了夫妻，而张巧嘴却误打误撞的嫁给了傅家大少爷傅官保（闾汉彪 饰）为妻。
