本片讲述一个支教的大学生到小山村支教，教学过程中发现了学校留守儿童的心理问题，通过向上级汇报，得到了政府、妇联等各级的重视，并在政府和妇联的关怀下，制定了一系列的措施，解决留守儿童的心理问题……。1942年5月，协助英国军队抗击日军的中国远征军入缅作战失利，日军沿滇缅公路趁势进犯我滇西地区企图趁乱夺取惠通桥、越怒江天险，进犯中国西南大后方。中国守军果断炸毁惠通桥，将日军遏制在怒江西岸。。In seventeenth century England Lord Whitman wages unending war on what he sees as the ever-present scourge of witchcraft, and many local villagers have suffered at his hands.
